COMMERCIAL OVERHEAD DOORS
Commercial overhead doors for Yakima Valley shops, warehouses and farms
We work with residential, commercial and agricultural clients throughout the Yakima Valley. For a commercial opening that means picking the right door for how it is used, then installing it and keeping it running.
Chapter 01
A commercial door gets used harder than anything in a house
A loading bay or a shop door can cycle dozens of times a day, in valley heat in July and in snow in January. Springs, cables, rollers and operators wear in proportion to that use, so a door that was fine for a light-duty building can start to fail fast when the business grows or a new tenant moves in.
Security is the other half. Warehouses, storage buildings and farm shops hold equipment, stock and tools, and the overhead door is often the biggest opening in the wall. Locking, reinforced panels and access control all belong in the conversation when you choose a door, not as an afterthought once something goes missing.
We serve residential, commercial and agricultural clients across the Yakima metro area, so we see the same questions from a fruit warehouse, a machine shop and a rural storage building: how often will it cycle, how heavy is it, and who needs to get in and out.

Sectionals, rolling curtain, high-speed, and a real consultation
We supply sectional doors, rolling curtain doors and high-speed doors, and the consultation comes first. We look at the opening, talk through how the door is used, and match the type to the job instead of selling you whatever is on the shelf. Sectionals suit most bays. Rolling curtain doors suit places where headroom is tight. High-speed doors suit openings that cycle constantly and need to stay open as briefly as possible.
Operators matter as much as the door. For sectional doors we install trolley operators, which are designed for smooth operation on frequent cycling. Heavier doors can need a hoist operator. We are a LiftMaster dealer and can walk you through the choice on our openers page.
For a new commercial door or a replacement, the estimate is free. Larger commercial jobs can also involve payment questions, and financing options or phased repairs can be discussed during that estimate. Ask when you call.
Chapter 03
Keeping a high-use door working after it goes in
We also repair commercial units and specialty doors. When we come out for a repair, we explain the problem and the price before any work starts, so you can decide with the facts in front of you. If a panel, spring or operator is the real issue, we say so, and if the better answer is a replacement we lay out the options.
A high-cycle door deserves regular attention. Springs, cables, rollers and safety sensors are the parts that tell you early when something is wrong, and checking them on a schedule costs far less than a door stuck open or shut on a busy day. Call us to talk through a maintenance routine that fits how hard the door works.
If you are weighing a new door against repairing an old one, see our new garage doors page for how we measure and install, or our garage door repair page for what a service call involves. The showroom at 1118 N 6th Ave in Yakima is open weekdays if you would rather see samples in person.
