About SCI Door
The door shop on North 6th Avenue
SCI Door sells, installs and repairs garage doors from a shop and showroom at 1118 N 6th Ave, Suite A, in Yakima. The business is registered with Washington as S C I DOOR, a corporation, and it has held its construction contractor licence since 1998.
Our customers are residential, commercial and agricultural, and they are spread across the valley. A homeowner choosing carriage house doors, a shop with a bay door that sticks, and a farm building that needs an overhead door all call the same office and get the same answer: someone will measure, explain, and tell you the price before the work begins.
We describe our crew as a “hard-working, go-getter” team of “sleeves-rolled-up” pros who are committed to “the best customer service in the business.” That is our own claim, so we have put what customers actually wrote further down this page. Read it and decide for yourself.
Walk the wall before you choose.
The sample wall in our shop at 1118 N 6th Ave, Suite A.
Full-height door sections hang side by side in wood-grain, black, white and tan, some with window inserts, with raised-panel samples leaning in front. A photo cannot show how a finish takes the light or how a window lite sits in its panel, so this is where most door choices get made.
In a customer’s words
Sent our way by a competitor.
One Google review, left after a custom door install, says more than our own copy can.
“I was originally referred to them by Cody from UpFront Garage Doors in Ellensburg, as I was outside their service area… I felt it spoke highly of SCI to be referred to them from a competitor.”
“The office staff, especially Laney, were incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. It was such a joy working with her over the phone.”
