What we do

One door, four sections.

Nearly everything we do fits inside a sectional door: the door itself, the springs and hardware that lift it, the opener that runs it, and the bigger doors on shops, warehouses and farm buildings around the valley.

Section 1

New garage doors

Carriage house, raised panel and full view glass, from the Amarr line we show in the shop. Every door is measured to its opening first: rough opening, headroom, track clearance and whether your opener can run it. Then we haul the old door away, set the tracks plumb and level, and balance the springs so the opener is not doing the lifting.

  • Raised panel
  • Full view glass
  • Insulated steel

Estimates are free on new and replacement doors.

Section 2

Springs and repair

Broken springs, frayed cables, a door off its track or a panel that took a bumper. Safety calls go first, our technicians carry the common parts, and many doors are working again before we leave, often the same day. We explain the problem and the price before any work starts.

Section 3

Openers and myQ

We are a LiftMaster dealer and a registered myQ Diagnostics dealer. Trolley operators for sectional doors, hoist operators for the heavier ones, keypads by the jamb, and the remote you could not get to program. With myQ the door opens from your phone and the opener reports its own errors.

Section 4

Commercial overhead doors

Shops, warehouses, storage and agricultural buildings. Sectionals, rolling curtain doors and high-speed doors, matched to how often the bay cycles, with trolley or hoist operators to run them and repairs when a busy door gives out.

The showroom · 1118 N 6th Ave, Suite A

Behind our door is a wall of real doors.

A brochure cannot show you how a wood-grain finish takes the afternoon light or how a window lite sits in its panel. Our showroom hangs full-height door sections side by side, wood-grain, black, white and tan, with raised-panel samples you can pick up. Walk the wall, choose, and we come out to measure.

Before you call

Straight answers about doors.

The office answers these every week. Anything else, call (509) 575-7955 or send a note to jordyn@scidoors.com.

Estimates are free on new garage doors, replacement doors and new installations. Repairs are not quoted free, but the office explains the problem, your options and the price before any work begins, so there are no surprises.

We put safety calls first and often fix doors the same day, depending on the problem, the parts it needs and the day's call volume. Most residential repairs finish in one visit when the parts are on the truck. Call (509) 575-7955.

Every door is made to fit its opening, so plan on a measure first and then the order. One customer's carriage door took about six weeks from measurement to installation. Most installs themselves wrap up in a day.

In many cases, yes. Individual panels can often be replaced without putting in a whole new door system. We will tell you on site whether yours can.

Yes. We install and service commercial overhead doors, including sectionals, rolling curtain doors and high-speed doors, plus trolley and hoist operators, for businesses and agricultural clients around the valley.
